Katie & Jason - September 2022

Katie and Jason had a beautiful Fall wedding at The Farmhouse surrounded by friends and family. We love looking back on such fond memories at The Farmhouse with our couples!

How did Jason propose?

Jason proposed on April 14th, 2021 at Margate, NJ which is the beach him and I go to every summer and was actually one of our first trips together when we started dating. He had all our friends come down and surprised me on the beach.

If you could describe your wedding day in one word, what would it be and why?

Stunning! Everything was so easy I never felt stressed the second I got to the venue and everything was set up that over met my expectations. The outdoor part was exactly what I wanted for our photos and guests to see.

Why did you choose The Farmhouse for your wedding? What were some of your favorite things about the venue?

The Farmhouse took our breath away from the open house we attended. We had gone to see a lot of venues and The Farmhouse was the last one I had to see before making my decision that this was the venue for us. We could tell that all the employees there really cared about our experience as well as our guests, everything was laid out so you could truly have an experience that would show you just how amazing the big day would be like.

What was one of your favorite moments on your wedding day?

Walking down the pathway and seeing Jason and only him. I don’t think I looked at anyone else. The layout of the outdoor spaces gives you that *coming around the corner* feel that I was looking for and the second we laid eyes on each other that will be a memory I will replay in my head for years.

What song did you choose for your first dance? What other special touches did you include on your big day?

Forever After All by Luke Combs. Jason’s family is Jewish so we incorporated some of their traditions which was very special for his grandfather to be a part of.

If you had one piece of advice for future couples, what would it be?

The little things really don’t matter! I kept our wedding as simple as possible and it truly helped the week-of to not get overwhelmed with all the little things that could go wrong. The guests don’t know if something goes wrong so you should not stress over it. Enjoy your day, you’ll regret it if you don’t.
