Humanism is ethical, rational and supporting of democracy. It insists that personal liberty be combined with social responsibility and is a response to the widespread demand for an alternative to dogmatic religion. Humanism values artistic creativity and uses free enquiry, the power of science and imagination to further peace and compassion. Humanism can be a way of life for everyone, everywhere.
